Importing Schedules

Overview

In addition to schedule building capabilities, users can also directly bring in schedules created outside the platform. This is done through an easy import after formatting the schedule into the required template.

Importing Schedule Steps

Create A New Schedule or Choose Existing Schedule

The functionality to import a schedule is located inside an existing ComboCurve schedule. To get there, either 1) Create a new schedule or 2) Select the “Work” action next to the desired existing schedule.

To create a new schedule, click on “Create Schedule.” From there, give the schedule a descriptive name and select the wells that the schedule is being created for and select “Create”.

When importing a schedule, all wells that are part of the import must exist in the schedule regardless of if it is an existing schedule or a newly created one. Be sure to either filter to the correct wells or add the necessary wells.

Import Schedule

Once working in the desired schedule, click on “Import Schedule.”

This will open the Import Schedule Form. First select the desired Well Identifier. This is how ComboCurve will match  the wells in the ComboCurve schedule to the imported file. Second, select the file to import from your computer or drag it into the Upload Schedule section. The file can be either CSV or XLSX format. Click on download template to see the expected format or follow this link: CSV Import Template

Finally, once an identifier is selected and a file uploaded, the “Import” button will turn blue. Select it to begin importing.
