Economics

Compositional Economics


  1. In v35, ComboCurve now lets you break down your inlet gas stream into its various components for economic analysis and reporting!
    1. This includes composition volumes, and stream component dependent pricing

Reporting

Custom PDF Reporting


  1. Customize your own standardized reports in our new custom PDF editor!
  2. Add your company logo, select desired headers, and include any economic outputs you'd like
  3. For more information, navigate to the 'Custom PDF Editor' window in your ComboCurve client and follow our new embedded tutorial!

Filtering

Revamped Filtering Page


  1. Filtering has a new look and new features! Navigate to the filter page to see our new reimagined UI

Forecast & Type Curves

Charts & Forms - Shared Configurations


  1. Forecast & Type Curve form/chart configurations have been revamped to allow users to share their current views and saved configurations with other users in the environment!
  2. Environment administrators can now endorse saved configurations, allowing companies to maintain a library of configurations to share with their users

Vertical Date Bar


  1. Our forecast module now supports vertical date bars on the grid page, allowing you to reference the current date, a custom date, or a header date
  2. These vertical date bars are also color configurable!

User Experience Improvements

Below are the feedback implementations & bug fixes we've added to the platform as of this release

Energy Platform

  1. Header/Production export limit has been extended to 50,000 wells with no time series limit
    1. Upgraded from five years!
  2. Permission updates
    1. Forecast Approvers can now run diagnostics & roll-ups
  3. The lefthand menu now tells users what version of ComboCurve they're on
  4. 'Map suggested' function of the Data Import feature now supports PRISM formatting
  5. Users can now update one production record without having to map one of the three core streams (oil, gas, water)
  6. Embedded Lookup Table (ELT) enhancements
    1. Row count capacity has been improved (i.e. building a table with ~20,000 wells now takes ~1 second!)
    2. Ratio & interpolation is now allowed without requiring a match, performed across entire dataset
    3. Pasting rows now inserts rows instead of deleting on overlap
    4. Two new pasting methods
      1. Insert paste (Command/CTRL+SHIFT+V)
      2. Paste nested rows (Command/CTRL+SHIFT+i)

Forecast & Type Curves

  1. 'Export Forecast Charts' function has a new look and now supports landscape PDFs
    1. Forecast chart comparisons are also supported now!
  2. Project Custom Headers (PCH) updates
    1. PCHs can now be referenced in forecast chart configurations
    2. PCHs can also now be used as the base for normalization for Type Curves

Carbon

  1. 'Node Models' heading has been added to the Carbon module
    1. 'Node Models' is a centralized Node Management Module at the project level, and allows you to define node parameters at the project level.

  2. Import/Export functionality has been added for nodes with the addition of Node Models
  3. Networks, facilities, and nodes can be imported between projects now
  4. Copy/Paste functionality has been added to time-series, emission tables, and fluid models
  5. Autolayout, rezoom, and recenter tools have been added to carbon networks
