ComboCurve: V34 Release Economic Validation Report (7/19/2023)

To guarantee economic results are consistent between updates, ComboCurve generates a variance report between the current version and the soon-to-be-released version.  To create this report, over 2,200 unique cases are run to evaluate all possible inputs across the economic models to ensure that there have not been any unintentional changes in the calculations.  The following changes have been made that may display variances from previous runs:
  1. Gross Capex and Expenses are no longer impacted by the “Paying WI / Earning WI” inputs in the Capex and Expense assumptions.  This does not impact the Net Capex and Expense calculations. 
  2. Group Economic Cases that are allocated by Net Well Count now use WI to calculate Net Wells for Capex allocation purposes.
