Project Custom Headers 

Creating Project Custom Headers

  1. Outside of the company level, the user can create project level custom headers.
  2. The user can navigate to the project wells page of the project of interest and locate the "Custom Columns" tab.
  3. The project custom headers that are created in this project will not travel to other projects, so each project will be able to have its unique custom headers. 

The user can create custom headers that consist of a string, number, boolean, date or percent. The custom header will then need a name and then click the blue "save".

To verify the custom header has been created the user can navigate to the header icon and type in the associated name of the custom header.
This custom header will now travel throughout the project and can be used in

Within the project wells page the user can also create project custom streams located under the "Custom Columns" tab. These are also project specific and will not travel with the user to other projects.

Once clicking on "Project Custom Streams", there will be options to select the color of the created custom stream, give it a name, along with the unit associated with the stream. There can be up to 20 custom project streams that are able to be created within the project.

Creating Project Custom Headers/Streams Through Data Import

In addition to the previously mentioned workflow, ComboCurve allows the creation of project custom headers and project custom streams directly in the data import page. This feature finds itself useful whenever the user is importing new data or updating existing data through a csv file. 

After navigating to data import and selecting Regular Import (csv), the user can upload the necessary files. In the Well Header mapping page,  the user can click on the project custom headers button to create a new header. After its creation, the user can map the header coming from their csv file to the project custom header as long as they both contain the same data type. 

Similarly, the user can create a new project custom stream in the Production Data (Monthly) or (Daily) tab as shown below. 

Note: The creation of project custom headers/streams  through data import is only applicable when importing data at the project level. This is because project custom headers/streams only live within specific projects and not at the company level. For company level data, the user can instead opt for Company Custom Headers/Streams.
